Silvano began with a clear point of view that premium leather goods should not be out of reach. For too long, quality in India has either come at inflated import prices or been compromised in mass production. We chose a different path by building at the source. In Jajmau, Kanpur, a region with over 200 years of leather craftsmanship, we work directly with skilled artisans and LWG-certified tanneries to create products that are honest in material, precise in construction, and built to last.
Every Silvano piece is made with intent. We use ethically sourced leather, focus on functional design, and avoid unnecessary embellishment. There are no shortcuts and no trend-chasing. Just well-made essentials that age well and carry meaning over time. The goal is not to be loud, but to be lasting.

Driven by Vision
Silvano is rooted in legacy. Backed by over 50 years of family experience in leather, the brand is led by its founder Ahmad Saad, a third-generation custodian of the craft who set out to build something of his own. With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from De Montfort University and further study in design from the University of Northampton, along with over 8 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, he leads Silvano from the ground up, ensuring every product reflects both where it comes from and where it is going.
