Carry Quiet Confidence
Silvano began with a clear point of view: premium leather goods should not be out of reach. In India, quality has too often meant inflated import prices, or been lost in mass production. We chose a different path, by making it ourselves.
Every Silvano belt, wallet and bag is made in our own workshop, from honest full-grain leather, with no shortcuts and no trend-chasing. Just well-made essentials that age well and are made to be used for years.
The founder
Built on legacy, driven by vision
Silvano is backed by more than 50 years of family experience in leather. It is led by its founder, Ahmad Saad, a third-generation custodian of the craft who set out to build something of his own.
With a degree in Business Administration from De Montfort University, further study in design at the University of Northampton and more than 8 years of hands-on manufacturing experience, he leads Silvano from the ground up, so every piece reflects both where it comes from and where it is going.

Responsibly made
LWG-certified leather, FSC-certified packaging
We use only full-grain leather: the top layer of the hide with its natural grain intact. It is the strongest kind of leather, and it softens and builds a patina with use instead of wearing out.
Our leather comes from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group, which audits tanneries on their environmental performance, including water, energy and chemical management.
Every order ships in an FSC-certified box with FSC-certified tags, and every piece comes in a cotton dust bag. We are working to cut plastic from how we pack.
The Silvano Cut
Look closely at the metal on a Silvano piece. Our buckles, zip pulls, strap sliders and logo plates are designed around one detail taken from our logo: corners cut on the diagonal instead of simply rounded off.

Name on the edge
Where the name appears on a buckle or pull, it is engraved along the side, so you notice it second, not first.
